In a recent collaboration, Sony Music and Legacy Recordings teamed up with generative-AI startup Vermillio to introduce an innovative platform allowing fans to craft their own personalized AI-generated tracks and artwork derived from the remixed album 'Metallic Spheres in Colour.' This rendition, a contemporary reinterpretation of the 2010 collaboration 'Metallic Spheres' by The Orb and Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour, has sparked excitement among fans awaiting the intersection of AI technology and music.

The artwork feature allows users to listen to clips from the album and type in a prompt box how it makes them feel. The site then creates album artwork based on these prompts. The remixing feature builds on this concept, prompting users to select artwork created by fellow fans, allowing the associated emotions to guide the AI in generating a personalized remix.

The interactive platform also has slider bars, enabling users to adjust the mood (ranging from chill to high energy) and tempo (from slower to faster) before finalizing their AI-generated remix.
