AI music company Udio has launched its first mobile app, entering Apple’s App Store with a tool designed to let users create music on the go. The iOS release follows a similar move by competitor Suno, which rolled out its app last summer.
The app, available as a free download, links to users’ existing Udio accounts and brings core features from its web version to mobile. That includes track generation, editing, AI-generated artwork, and a feature allowing users to upload their own audio clips as seeds for new compositions.

Like Suno, Udio has chosen to run its subscriptions through Apple’s in-app purchases system. Pricing starts at $10 per month for the standard tier, with a $30 Pro tier offering expanded capabilities. Users can also buy 100 extra credits for $3 to generate additional tracks.
The mobile launch comes as both Udio and Suno face legal pressure from major record labels. Lawsuits filed earlier this year accuse the companies of training their models on copyrighted material without permission.
For now, the app is iOS-only, with no word yet on an Android release.
