MrBeast Plans to Keep His YouTube Channel Alive After Death, Because Why Not?

Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, apparently has no plans to let something as trivial as death interrupt his YouTube empire. In a recent interview with KSI and Logan Paul, the 26-year-old content creator revealed he’s already recorded several videos that will go live after he’s gone. Yes, you read that right—posthumous uploads are now part of his grand strategy.

“I have around 15 videos that will go up after I die,” Donaldson admitted, noting that these hidden gems are currently stored on an old computer, with only a select few people in his company knowing where to find them. He mentioned that the videos “aren’t up to his usual standard” and even called them “pretty garbage.”

But that’s not stopping him from pushing forward with his plan. The goal is to keep his channel alive and, presumably, keep the revenue flowing. “I did do that for when I die,” MrBeast said, drawing an odd parallel to YouTuber Nikocado Avocado’s recent “Two Steps Ahead” video series documenting his weight loss.

As one might expect, the idea of continuing to post content from beyond the grave feels a bit eerie. While he may have intended to maintain the illusion of still being alive, he’s now blown the secret wide open during the podcast, making it harder to pull off that digital sleight of hand.

Why go to such lengths? One could speculate it’s about keeping the content machine running to support his team after he passes. Or maybe it’s just another example of MrBeast’s relentless approach to staying relevant—though this time, in the afterlife. Whether or not the videos ever actually surface, it’s clear that even death isn’t enough to derail his commitment to uploading.

This bizarre revelation comes at a time when MrBeast is facing some real-world heat, including accusations regarding the treatment of contestants on his Amazon Prime game show, which may even lead to a lawsuit. But if you were wondering what will happen to your YouTube feed once MrBeast shuffles off this mortal coil, rest assured: his channel will still be there, delivering content from beyond the great beyond. Or someone from his team will simply upload AI-generated stuff, and no one would ever notice.
