Tuned Global, a company that provides B2B music and streaming services, is following in the footsteps of Spotify and YouTube and introduces AutomixIQ, a tool that promises to enhance user engagement across various music apps and services. According to the press release, the AI DJ technology seamlessly transitions between tracks, providing a professional DJ-quality mix that eliminates gaps and jarring moments, thereby keeping listeners engaged for longer periods.
AutomixIQ, the first product from Tuned Global that operates independently of their other services, leverages AI to analyse tracks and create smooth transitions. How? The technology examines multiple music data points to generate hundreds of possible transitions, ultimately selecting the best mix for a sophisticated listening experience. AutomixIQ will use the licensed tracks already available in the music streaming service or app. It uses proprietary technology that handles song transitions without creating derivative musical works, which removes licensing issues related to song remixing.
This rollout follows Tuned Global's 2023 acquisition of DJ music startup Pacemaker. By transforming Pacemaker's popular technology into a B2B tool, Tuned Global aims to provide streaming services, fitness apps, gaming platforms, and more with an edge in attracting and retaining users.
Con Raso, Managing Director of Tuned Global, highlighted the benefits of AutomixIQ: "Our AI-generated mixes surpass what major global streaming services offer with their in-house teams. We're excited to provide this turnkey solution to our clients, enhancing their music experience and keeping fans engaged."
AutomixIQ is a standalone software development kit (SDK) that integrates easily into any iOS or Android streaming application.
