Table of Contents

So far available in beta, dBdone is a free app designed to streamline the management of DAW projects, combining project cataloging, task lists, and time management tools. So if you're looking to bring order to the often chaotic folders, give this app a shot—it offers compatibility with major DAWs like Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, and more.

Unlike other tools that focus on single DAWs, such as Logic Buddy (which only worked with Logic Pro), dBdone supports a wide range of software and promises future updates to include additional DAWs like Reason. The app’s interface features a central dashboard displaying all projects in one place, so there's no need to dig through endless folders. Producers can open any project directly from the main screen, and add notes or tags for easy organisation by genre, progress, or custom categories.

dBdone also has a task and deadline system, allowing users to set due dates for tracks and keep track of to-do lists for each project. Another key feature is the ability to upload custom images for each project, making it easier to visually identify them.

Additionally, you can create a personalised artist page, hosted on the my.dbdone platform, which will act as a hub for sharing projects and connecting with other artists.

The app is currently in public beta and is available for free on Windows and macOS.
