Deezer has just shared the release of its new feature, Playlist with AI, that "users can get creative with" and create custom playlists with text prompts, following in the footsteps of Spotify, Amazon Music, and even YouTube which is also reportedly working on the AI radio feature.

"Subscribers all around the world will now be able to try Playlist with AI and create custom playlists with a simple text prompt," the press release says.

Not all subscribers can enjoy the feature so far. It's now being beta tested and rolled out across a random 5% of Deezer's subscribers who "will be able to let their imagination run free and create new playlists from text prompts." The select users can use prompts that describe desired moods, genres, decades, activities and anything else.

"We're excited to bring this AI-powered feature to Deezer users around the world," said Alexandra Leloup, VP Product at Deezer. "Whether you need the perfect soundtrack for a workout, a romantic evening, or a nostalgic trip down memory lane, our Playlist with AI feature will curate a new musical experience within a matter of seconds, and offers endless possibilities to easily discover new music."
