Always wanted to save TikTok clips en masse to watch them on a flight? TikTok has quietly introduced an "Offline videos" feature enabling users to watch videos without an internet connection. This feature allows users to automatically download batches of 50 to 200 videos simultaneously for later offline viewing.
How to download TikTok videos in bulk with TikTok Offline Videos Feature
As of writing, the feature might not be accessible to every account, but here's how to figure out if you have one:

- To access the Offline Videos feature, navigate to your TikTok profile and tap the hamburger icon.
- Select 'Settings and privacy', and find 'Offline videos' under 'Cache & Cellular'.
Here, you can choose the number of videos you want to download while online and access them offline later. However, the selection process is random, as TikTok pulls videos from the user's For You page.
Launch the app when you’re offline and head over to Offline videos. Now, you can watch these videos without an internet connection. The downloaded videos are stored within the TikTok app's storage space on the device.
While watching offline TikTok videos, users have limited functionality, such as liking a video, leaving a comment (which syncs when online), viewing creator information, and accessing background music. Certain features like sharing or downloading from the offline collection are unavailable until an internet connection is restored.
Despite its limitations, the Offline videos feature is a convenient option, especially when travelling without internet access. You can enjoy pre-downloaded entertainment and add more clips to your collection when you regain a Wi-Fi or data connection.
How to download TikTok videos in bulk with third-party apps
If you see that the Offline videos feature is unavailable for you, you can use third-party mass TikTok downloaders, such as 4K Tokkit or tokdownload.
4K Tokkit
4K Tokkit is a solution to save videos from TikTok, both as single videos and in batches. This desktop tool (compatible with Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu) allows you to download clips from an entire TikTok account, as well as by a hashtag or sound. Here's how:
- Install and launch 4K Tokkit on your computer (it's safe, we tested it).
- Search for the video by entering a hashtag, sound, or username in the search field or paste the URL of the video. For instance, #halloweenrecipes.
- Press Download.
The tool will automatically start downloading the videos. To stop it, you'll need to press Pause.
You can then watch the videos in your default player by clicking on them, find them on your device or TikTok.
Tokdownload
If you'd better use an online solution, there are plenty. Tokdownload is one of them. Like all similar online tools, it works rather straightforwardly: you just need to visit the website and paste the links of the TikTok videos you wish to save.
